Cosmic Eclipse Slot - Netent

Space exploration is not an uncommon theme in the online gaming world and NetEnt has already visited in in the past with some famous slot games including Starburst. Cosmic Eclipse is another space themed slot game from the iconic casino software developer which takes players into the deep unknown and has us uncovering the secrets of the cosmos.

The game is fairly simple in terms of visuals and uses an electro music background that adds to the entire space atmosphere. The background represents a black hole in all its glory and the interface is very common to slot players, as NetEnt always uses the same kind of setup in terms of buttons and commands.

We took this space exploration saga ourselves to find out just how deep into space we can get and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing things we discovered on the journey.

Straight Into the Black Hole
Cosmic Eclipse is a very clean and smooth slot game without too many special features to speak of. The game offers five reels and ten paylines stacked with symbols planets and asteroids of all sorts, all of which line up on the paylines and form various wins, all the way up to 600 coins for a single line.

The real excitement in Cosmic Eclipse comes from special Bonus Symbols which can only appear on the last reel of the game. The black hole symbol activates the Black Hole feature, which picks one random symbol from the reels, apart from the wild symbol and makes it the active symbol. Re-spins are triggered and active symbols and wilds are collected. Collection continues until there are no active symbols on the reels or a total of 15 have been gathered. The symbols are then distributed on the grid, awarding guaranteed payouts to the player.
While there are no free spins or additional bonus features for players to look for in Cosmic Eclipse, the Black Hole feature is triggered often and unlike some other bonus games it awards guaranteed wins. This means that each time you find a black hole on the reels, you will get awarded a cash prize, without a chance for an empty bonus.

Fire up the Engines
It’s time to fire up your spaceship and start exploring the expanses of the universe. The Cosmic Eclipse slot game gives you a chance to do just that and venture into the deep parts of space where no man has ventured before. The game offers ample opportunity for massive wins as well as engaging and fast gameplay that will keep you interested for hours on end.

The overall RTP of the Cosmic Eclipse slot reaches 96.52% and the relatively high hit rate means you will be looking at some wins with frequency. The lack of massive jackpots makes the game low in volatility as many winning spins are awarded and you will not be surprised by some earth shattering wins only to spin the slot 200 times after it without a single hit, which makes this the ideal game for players looking for a more consistent slot experience.
