Golden Legend Slot - Play N Go

In the faraway Chinese lands, there is a legendary golden treasure. Do you have the courage to embark on an adventure to find it? With Play N Go’s video slot Golden Legend you are one spin away from this legendary trove. This slot machine has five reels and four rows with up to fifty pay lines and a bet of up to five coins per line, whose denomination can be set from 0.01 to 0.40. This makes the game flexible enough to attract both low- and high-rollers!

Golden Legend draws its inspiration from classical Chinese art and architecture. Four golden dragons protect the slot, and two cloth rolls with inscriptions frame the reels. Buttons are inspired by the geometrical decorative designs found in ancient palaces and temples in China. The symbols also give off these same vibes.

There are two special symbols: a wild and a scatter. The wild is represented by a Golden Yuanbao, which was a type of currency used in imperial China. The Golden Yuanbao can substitute for any payout symbol to help create winning combinations. It can only appear on the second, third, fourth and fifth reel.

A red and yellow Dragon holding a jade ball represents the free-spin scatter. When three Dragons appear on the reels, their effect activates. It is worth noting that these Dragons can only appear on the first, second and third reel. Once three dragons land on those reels, you are paid four times your total bet and a sequence of free spins will take place.

In every free spin, two extra Golden Yuanbaos will show up and be added to the second, third, fourth or fifth reel, stacking on top of each other. You can win more spins in Free Spin mode, with a maximum total of twenty spins. After that, you are back to the main game.

Payout symbols are divided intro two categories: high payout and low payout. The first one contains five traditional creatures in Chinese culture: a Golden Tiger, a Golden Pixiu (lion-dragon hybrid), a Golden Tortoise, a Golden Peacock, and two Golden Fish. Low payout symbols do not correspond to any traditional Chinese symbology, but rather with playing card figures: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten and Nine. They have a scaly design and each symbol has a different color.

Another interesting gameplay option inside the game is the Gamble Mode. This mode can be activated every time you land a winning combination. If you choose to play Gamble Mode, you can multiply your prize. To do so, you will have to press the gamble button after a winning move and then the round starts. If you guess the color or suit of the face-down card correctly, you can double or quadruple your winnings. You can play this round up to five times in a row and with a win limit of 2500 coins.

To sum up, Play N Go’s Golden Legend is a good option for those who are into Chinese-themed slots. Visually, it is very compelling, and gameplay-wise it offers some great features such as the free spins and the gamble mode.
